Priest Lake Golf Course No Longer Hosting PLI Tournament
Hello past and present players of the PLI,
As some of our players travel from as far away as the East Coast and others plan their summer vacations around this tournament, I wanted to provide an update on the 2025 PLI.
Hopefully you’ve kept some of your PLI swag from previous years because it is now a collector’s item. After 50 uninterrupted years of running this tournament and raising a substantial amount of charitable funds (over $30k alone last year) for the Priest Lake community; management at the Priest Lake Golf Course has decided to not allow us to host this tournament at the golf course. I wish I had happier news.
Suffice it to say, it has been my pleasure and an honor to put on the PLI for the last 10 years. Thank you to the Novell family for starting the tourney back in 1974 and their 40 years of service. Thank you to Dave Talarico and Mike Belles for joining the PLI board to bring this tournament to the next level. I couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you to all of our volunteers and course staff who helped us along the way and made the tourney a memorable Priest Lake tradition and as fun as ever.
